BEK & RICH - A CLIFF TOP WEDDING BY THE SEA
Posted: Jul 25 2016
What is one word that would best describe your wedding? Relaxed.
What is the most amazing thing about your man? He's an extremely talented cook - and I love food, so that's useful.
What was the most challenging part of organising a wedding?
Trying to choose a location - Rich is British and I am Australian. We had been travelling for a few months after living in the UK and Rich's visa hadn't been processed for Australia yet, so we had the dilemma of finding a balance between our expectations as well as others' expectations!
Any funny moments?
The funniest moment for us both was the weather the day before the wedding. It was the most awful weather I have ever seen down at Phillip Island - it was so windy that we could barely step outside for our rehearsal the evening before! It was most amusing that all of the Brits had come over for a later 'summer' wedding in Australia...not quite in the end! The day before that had been the most perfect I have ever seen, so we struck it lucky with average conditions on the actual day!

What is one scene in the wedding that will forever be in your memory?
Meeting Rich at the altar - he was a little emotional (don't tell him I told you that!) and it was a beautiful moment to finally experience!
How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
I had the most amazing fun running around without any shoes on - my feet were the talk of the evening (my new hubby didn't realise that I didn't have shoes on until the end of the night when he saw my feet covered in sand!)
Has anything changed in your relationship with your husband now that you are a wife?
I feel that our relationship is always growing stronger and getting married was a natural step for us. We do have a giggle when we refer to each other as husband and wife, but I guess we will get used to it! We probably make more jokes about 'what's yours is mine' now!
