How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
Amazing! The team have wonderful customer service and handy sizing guides made it easy to measure my foot to get the perfect fit. I wanted shoes that felt like me, looked amazing and were comfortable to dance the night away. Forever Soles were all of these things.
Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?
I wore the Melody Low Heels in ivory. Stunning! They were comfortable all day long! As soon as I saw them I knew they were a perfect match for me & my dress.
How did you meet?
We met the modern way, online. After a few days chatting we met in person and the rest is history.
How long have you been together and how did they propose?
6 and a half years! Thankfully we snuck a few in person dates in before Covid.
Tom booked the most wonderful and luxe picnic while we were holidaying in the Daintree. Our picnic was at the private, on-site waterfall where we stayed. He got down on one knee, told me everything he loved about me, asked the big question and through happy tears I said yes.
What is the most amazing thing about your person?
Gosh, where to begin! His kindness towards absolutely everyone and ability to instantly put me at ease. He's been my calm since day one.
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
Ethereal
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
Walking down the aisle together and seeing all our favourite people gathered to celebrate us.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
Walkabout Creek in Brisbane. We've been swimming and kayaking at Walkabout Creek together since our fourth date. We wanted to get married somewhere special to us and where we can have married dates well into the future.
Who created your gorgeous gown?
When Freddie Met Lilly! It was the first dress I tried on and I instantly knew it was the one for me.
You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
Incredible! We feel very loved up in our own little bubble.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Cook Islands. So dreamy and tropical!
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
Don't be afraid to do your day your way! Go with your heart and don't feel obligated to do something just because of traditions.
