Jacob proposed using the Bloom Platforms. As we walked up to the big stone steps that were built into the side of the hill I saw my shoes on the steps. Jacob helped me put the shoes on and proposed. He is my absolute best friend and cares deeply about everything that he does.
How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
I had the best time with the entire experience of being a Forever Soles bride. I received so many compliments and the shoes were so comfortable. The shoes elevated my look so much and I bought my wedding dress so that you would be able to see my shoes.
Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?
The Bloom Platforms! I loved the pearl details. The theme for my wedding ended up being pearls!
How did you and your husband meet?
My husband and I met through a mutual friend. I moved to Tennessee from Michigan and one of my friends from college was already living here. My friend happened to be roommates with my future husband. He would invite me to events that Jacob would always be at. Two months after we first met we started dating.
How long have you been together and how did he propose?
Jacob and have been together for 2 1/2 years. Jacob proposed using the Bloom Platform heels. A year before we got engaged we had the conversation that we knew we wanted to get married. Around the same time I saw that Forever Soles was having a sale so I bought the Bloom Platform heels. They had been on my pinterest board for a while and I thought it was a perfect time to buy. I told my friends it would be so fun to have the shoes for all things bridal. A year later, Jacob took me out on a Saturday date. We spent the day getting breakfast, coffee, and exploring bookshops. We were going to end the day at my favorite Spot in Nashville, Percy Warner Park. As we walked up to the big stone steps that were built into the side of the hill I saw my shoes on the steps. Jacob helped me put the shoes on and proposed. His friends were there to take photos. Afterwards, he took me to a surprise party with all of our friends and family there to celebrate.
How Jacob got the shoes: My friends had told Jacob about the shoes and he snuck them out of my house so that he could surprise me with them at our proposal.
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
Jacob makes me laugh like no one else ever could. He is my absolute best friend and cares deeply about everything that he does.
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
Perfection
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
Spending a slow morning with my friends getting ready for a busy day.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
The Monroe on 415th (McMinnville TN) The venue just finished their all black chapel this summer and it's gorgeous. That was the main reason I chose this venue.
Who created your gorgeous gown?

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
The wedding is fun, but picking a husband that makes every day just as fun is so important. I love living this life with him and getting to share in all the small joys together.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Rome (over New Years!)
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
Make sure that you pick a few must-have things for your wedding. Once you make those things just the way that you want them, all the other things don't seem to be as big of a deal.
