How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

Amazing! My husband and I are both shoe lovers, so it was important to both of us that we had show-stopping shoes. Once I found Forever Soles, I knew I needed a pair for my wedding day.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

I wore the Moondance Platforms! The first thing that caught my eye about these shoes is the round heel, they are unique and retro. I also love the light blue and velvet. They were perfect and I can’t wait to rewear them with other items in my closet!

How did you and your husband meet?

We went to the same high school and college and we were always friends, but never dated. We reconnected on a dating app and the timing was finally right!

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We started dating in 2020 right when COVID hit, and we got engaged on New Years 2021 at midnight! We were at home and it was just us.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

My husband is the perfect combination of confident and humble, he is very sweet and thoughtful, and makes everyone feel comfortable.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

A Dream

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

My favourite moment was my first look with my husband. I was so excited for us to see each other, and him to see my outfit, and it was nice to soak it in just us.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

We got married at Strongwater, an old factory in an art-centric area of Columbus, Ohio. We chose it because we liked the industrial vibe in contrast to the natural softness of our florals and decor.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

My gown is by Sarah Seven, I found it at Lovely Bride in Cincinnati.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

It feels amazing! We feel similar to how we did before, but feel even more connected and grounded.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We went to Colorado to see one of our favourite bands at Red Rocks Amphitheater, ride bikes, hike and go to breweries. We are going to Scotland next year to run the Edinburgh half marathon!

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

My biggest advice is to not get hung up on moments playing out differently than you envisioned. You have worked so hard the create the day, but once the event starts, the moments you will remember will happen organically.
