How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

It was great. Pinterest had taken me down the road of a red heel for my wedding and I had almost given up hope of finding anything that lived up to my expectations before I came across Forever Soles. My shoes got to me with plenty of time (even through Covid delays everywhere) and were everything advertised. The quality is incredible as well.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

The Ruby Passion Low Heels! The comfort. I had them on for an easy 12 hours and absolutely no complaints. They got me through walking on grass, gravel and also a muddy paddock while staying comfortable and gorgeous.

How did you and your husband meet?

We met at our first jobs when we were 16. We didn't start dating for a few years after that. He moved interstate but we were friends from the start.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We'd been together for 10 years when he proposed. It was during one of the Sydney lockdowns on our anniversary. He set up a treasure hunt around our apartment that finished with him proposing. The most impressive part was him getting the ring without me having any clue what was going on while we were both working from the same room.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He's just a sweetheart. He's always let me be my own person and supported me in whatever ways I needed. We've been together for so long he's just my other half.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Magic. There were so many things that could have gone wrong (there was a landslide on a road leading to the venue) but I couldn't have asked for more in the end.

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

I actually can't boil it down to just a single moment. The day was so lovely. Having all the people you care about in the same place and getting good wishes from people who couldn't make it is very special.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

It was at Collits Inn in the Blue Mountains. We always wanted something out of Sydney and this ticked all the boxes. It's just set in such a gorgeous location and the owners are absolutely delightful. It's completely owned and operated by a single family which makes all the difference. They were so easy to deal with and amazingly accommodating to my endless requests/questions. There is also accommodating included onsite for the wedding party which is awesome to not even have to think about.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

Anna Campbell Bridal - purchased from The Bridal Atelier in Sydney. Joanna from Sew Special did all my alterations and veil (she's amazing)!

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

To be honest, about the same. We've been living together for a long time, been on holidays with each others families and have 2 cats so we've been our own family for a while. Having our wedding was just the icing o the cake.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We did a few Aus bucket list places. Uluru, Hobart and Haymen Island. All amazing and such a good time.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Don't forget to eat. It's such a long day and you probably won't sleep the night before so eat some food! It's also just about the most fun day ever so its easy to forget you haven't had breakfast so make sure there is someone there with you that hands you a croissant at various points during the day.
