How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

I could not have been happier with my wedding shoes! They were the perfect compliment to my dress and jewellery without taking away from my dress. I got so many compliments on my shoes and how perfectly they suited my personality and my style on our wedding day. They were so comfortable to wear all day and I can’t wait to wear them again soon.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding and what was your favourite thing about your shoes?

The Melody Heel in white with the beautiful pearl flowers. The pearls were absolute perfection!

How did you and your husband meet?

My husband and I met through mutual friends back in late 2014. We hit it off in 2015 and have been together ever since. They decided they would just start to invite us around to catch up with them without telling us that the other was going to be there.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We have been together for 7 years now. Joel proposed to me at our local beach where we walk every Sunday. There was not another soul there asides from us and it was simple and perfect.

We then continued to walk even though I just stared at my hand in shock that he had actually proposed to me for 5km.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

Joel is the most supportive and caring person I have ever met. He loves me more than I could’ve ever thought possible and he makes me feel truly special.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Us. Simple.

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

My favourite memory from our wedding was seeing Joel’s face when he finally turned to look at me walking down the isle. Also, the way he looked at me during the announcement of us being husband and wife! I’ve never felt more loved and beautiful in my life. So much admiration.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

We were married at Koonowla Winery in Auburn SA. We picked it because it was such a simple and beautiful location all on its own. It just felt like we were at home there.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

My gown was made by Made With Love Bridal. It is their Tommy gown.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

I feel so content and happy to be married to my person. It is such an indescribable feeling to marry someone you love so much. I couldn’t be happier!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We had a mini-moon due to Covid. We went to Adelaide and tried some absolutely amazing food places that we had always wanted to try and then did a Penfolds wine tour. We finished off our mini-moon by going back to Auburn and renting a little cottage. We decided to have some down time and enjoy coffee walks and dinners out together.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Please stay true to what you and your partner truly want for your day. Don’t let anyone try and take over or persuade you otherwise. Be true to yourselves.
