How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

My experience as a Forever Soles bride was amazing! ✨ I ordered my wedding boots for our elopement in Italy, and everything about the process was so smooth. Which shoes did you wear for your wedding?

I wore the Vow – Velvet Lace Up Ankle Boots for my wedding. It’s not easy to find high-quality wedding booties, but this pair was absolutely perfect. We did a lot of walking and hiking in the mountains for our elopement, and I knew I needed something sturdy yet beautiful. These boots were stunning, incredibly comfortable, and held up perfectly the entire day.

What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

I honestly loved everything about them, but my favourite part was how perfectly they matched the aesthetic of the mountains and my dress. It felt so unique to wear booties instead of traditional heels, which made them even more special for our day.

How did you meet?

We met in Austin, Texas back in college. I was there for an internship, and I ended up bringing home the best souvenir of all — a cowboy.

How long have you been together and how did they propose?

We’ve been together for 5 years, and we got married on our 5-year anniversary. He proposed on a beautiful bridge over the river that runs through my parents’ property — a bridge he actually built with my dad. It was the most meaningful way to celebrate our love and the journey we’ve shared. 💍✨

What is the most amazing thing about your person?

I truly love everything about him, but the most amazing thing is how he makes me laugh every single day and supports me in every way imaginable. He’s my biggest cheerleader, my calm in the chaos, and the person who pushes me to chase every dream. Life with him is full of joy, adventure, and so much love — and I couldn’t imagine sharing it with anyone else.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Adventurous

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

I truly loved every aspect of our wedding, but my favourite memory has to be taking a helicopter at sunrise up to Seceda in the Dolomites and saying our vows as the sun came up over the mountains. It was the most magical, surreal moment perfectly summed up our adventurous spirit.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Our wedding was in the Dolomites in Italy. I studied abroad in Italy during college, and it’s held a special place in my heart ever since. Austin and I also share a love for hiking and the mountains, so the Dolomites were the perfect place to bring it all together for our wedding day.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

It honestly feels the same — which is such a good thing! We already had such a strong relationship, so being married just feels like a natural (and really joyful) next chapter together. 💕

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We decided to extend our elopement trip and turn it into our honeymoon. After the Dolomites, we explored Lake Como, Tuscany, and Rome — it was the perfect mix of adventure, romance, and relaxation.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

My advice would be to absolutely consider Forever Soles for your wedding shoes — they were such a dream. 👢✨ But most importantly, stay true to what you and your partner want for your wedding day. Choose what makes you happy, because the day is truly about the two of you. For us, eloping was the most special decision — we spent the entire day together, from getting ready side by side to exchanging vows at sunrise. When we came back home, we rented a lake house and surprised our families by sharing our wedding video with them. It was such a meaningful way to celebrate together after having that private, adventurous day just for us. 💕
