How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

I searched for so long for the perfect wedding shoes. I didn't like anything that I kept running into. I wanted something in my colour scheme, not white and encrusted with jewels! When I saw your IG, I was floored.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding?

I loved so many pairs, when the Ruby red Passion Heels popped up on my timeline... I tried to order them. They were out of stock so I ended up watching your feed until they came back in stock!

What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

I love the deep red, the texture of the velvet, the comfort, EVERYTHING. The first thing I thought of when I saw them was #MOOD :) I was also stoked that I was definitely going to wear them again!

How did you and your husband meet?

My coworker thought it would be entertaining to match up his best friend/college roommate with his coworker to golf together. He definitely did not expect a marriage out of that!

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We have been together 4.5yrs. I PROPOSED TO HIM! Leap year 2/29/20. I then found out that the multiple failed camping attempts we had were his attempt to propose to ME. We ended both wearing engagement rings for the year.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

I call him my "witch whisperer". That man can handle me like no one in this world can. I knew we were going to be forever since the first time I met him.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

A dream. Time literally stood still from 5pm - midnight. I never thought I would ever experience something like that in my lifetime.

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

My daughters walking me down the aisle towards this man! Looking back at our closest friends and family gathered with tears in their eyes.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Ali'i Suite, Sheraton Maui. Because of COVID restrictions and the unknown changes, we had to adjust from a 200px wedding to 45px. We still wanted our "upgraded backyard bbq" so this location was a perfect mix of casual elegance. The beautiful Maui beach and sunset was also a minor detail ;)

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

At the end of the day, it's your (you two) day. Have a couple of people do the worrying and obsessing for you so you're free to experience what you're there for...your union!

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

It doesn't feel different, just that we're ready for whatever's next! We're exactly where we want to be.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

That's on pause. We wanted to go on an eating tour of Europe but think it'll be much more enjoyable a little later in time. We do live on Maui so we don't feel so rushed.
