Sarah & Connor’s Heartfelt Fraser Island Celebration
Nine years ago, Forever Soles bride Sarah said “I do” on a timber jetty at Fraser Island, confidently walking toward her future in stylish, secure platform heels. The shoes were the perfect combination of elegance and practicality—ideal for navigating the gaps between timber planks without a second thought.
Her love story began in the heart of Australia, at a backpackers’ bar in Uluru. She had just arrived in the red centre for work, while her partner Connor was there installing air conditioning at local resorts. What started as a spontaneous encounter turned into a life together built on adventure, laughter, and unwavering loyalty.
Four years later, Connor proposed during a 4x4 trip to Cape York. At Eliot Falls, he handed her a ring underwater while she snorkelled—a quirky, unforgettable moment they later celebrated with friends, mudcrabs, and champagne by the fire.
They married at Kingfisher Bay Resort in a relaxed, beachside ceremony surrounded by gumtrees and loved ones. With native flowers gathered on the drive and cork Australiana placemats doubling as keepsakes, the day reflected their easygoing style and heartfelt connection.
Now, nearly a decade into marriage, she still believes in celebrating love—whatever form it takes. Their honeymoon? A road trip through Tasmania, just the two of them and a rooftop tent under the stars.
