How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

As I was on the search for the perfect beachy, boho, classy wedding heel, I came across Forever Soles and immediately fell in love. I was nervous about ordering these during the pandemic and having them delivered in time from Australia to the United States, but there were zero issues with shipment or delivery. I remember also being in between sizes, so I reached out to customer service who assisted me in choosing the size that would give me the most perfect fit on my wedding day.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

The Melody Heels! The comfort, and of course the GORGEOUS hand beaded pearl flower detailing. I loved that they were simplistic but so unique and classy, yet unlike any other typical wedding heel that you would find

How did you and your husband meet?

He came to visit one of his best guy friends (who was also one of my good friends) at my college for the weekend. We definitely caught each other’s eyes that weekend but didn’t officially meet again until 3 months later where we spent the weekend at the Ohio River with a big group of friends. We had an immediate connection and were attached at the hip the entire weekend and have not stopped talking to each other since.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We have been together for almost 5 and a half years now. After dating for 4 years, we went on a road trip vacation together to one of our favourite destination spots, St. Pete Beach, Florida. One night he surprised me with a beachfront dinner reservation, which is where he proposed to me. After dinner and celebrating with champagne, we walked back inside of the restaurant where both of our families were sitting (which Alex had planned). They traveled from Indiana and Ohio to be there with us to celebrate our engagement. It was a night that I will truly never forget.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He is humble, kind, hardworking, loyal, and so unbelievably handsome. But my most favourite thing about him is that he is my best friend and soulmate. We laugh and have so much fun together. He is my comfort, my home, my safe place, and I just absolutely adore him.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

A DREAM

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

Writing and sharing our own personal vows during the ceremony & having all of our families and best friends be there with us on our special day

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Hard Rock Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico — we always talked about having a destination wedding. With my parents being Hard Rock members, Cabo was a location we were extremely excited about as it was in the works of being built for several years. As one of their newest resorts, the views and boho vibes of the mountains, cacti, and ocean were just absolutely breathtaking. The all-inclusive option was also something we new our guests would appreciate.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

It feels like everything I imagined, but better, and just amazing. We can’t wait to finally begin this new journey and start our lives together as one.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We spent the day after our wedding celebrating at the pool with all of our friends and families before they all left. The first day of our honeymoon was spent at the same resort we got married at which began with a nice breakfast in bed and was followed by an incredible Couples Massage at the Hard Rock Spa. We then went left Hard Rock and went to stay at another resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to get a more intimate experience for the remaining of our honeymoon.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Enjoy the entire process— from wedding planning to the actual wedding day. It literally goes by in the blink of an eye. Don’t stress too much about the little things, because most of them are things that no one else will have a clue about. And most importantly- have fun and dance your booty off! What could possibly be better than having all of your very favourite people in one place to support and celebrate the marriage of you and your best friend?!
