How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride? Which shoes did you wear for your wedding?

I wore the Willow Sandals and they were so comfy! I kept them on all night even when we went dancing at Chattahoochee Joes Honky Tonk bar afterwards. Delivery was fast and great. Sizing fit perfectly. I’m devastated about it seeing the new Willow design with the open back and I’m in love with those too! I loved the pearls on them and the dainty pointed toe, just felt beautifully sophisticated but with a nice and comfy heel height perfect to last all night.

How did you meet? How long have you been together and how did they propose?

Aaron and I actually met on Tinder and we’ve been together for 4 years this December. He proposed to me down at Kirra Hill Lookout in January this year. He had surprised me with a cute weekend away for our anniversary but we had to postpone due to moving houses. So as we got down the coast we decided to grab a little cheese platter for the hill and go for a walk. I got hungry and wanted to stop for the snacks half way to the lookout. Then we kept going got there just in time to watch the sun starting to go down and then was going to head out for dinner and some drinks. Then he stopped me as we started to head back down, told me that this was our year to make all of our goals happen. All that cutesy stuff and asked me to marry him.

What is the most amazing thing about your person?

The most amazing thing about Aaron is his smile and his heart. Seeing him happy just makes me so happy. Plus he’s got the biggest heart and genuinely listens to me and cares! Also I’m just absolutely obsessed with him!

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

I would describe our wedding as ‘us’ it was just so magically us in every way and I can’t get over how perfect it was. I want to relive it again and again it was so much fun!

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

Favourite memory would just be seeing him at the alter and us having some little jokes while seeing each other. The photos before the reception was also really lovely and then we had a Photo Booth as well which was fun getting photos with everyone.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

The Warehouse Brisbane - we loved the bricks and the wooden beams and big windows of the building. Nowhere else compared and we just fell in love with the venue.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

My gown is Made With Love. I actually had to buy this one 3 weeks out from the wedding because my original dress couldn’t get altered like I had hoped. I got this on a sample sale and honestly she was perfect and I knew on the day that it was meant to happen that way. I was meant to wear that dress.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

It still feels surreal that we are married. I don’t think it’s hit me yet, especially because I went straight back to work after the long weekend into term 4. So we haven’t done a honeymoon yet but we are heading down to Byron Bay soon for our anniversary and to celebrate getting married. This is where we first told each other our love for one another. So I’m really looking forward to that.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Don’t stress the small stuff just take it as it comes, everything will happen as it is meant to and just have fun while doing it all! It goes so fast that some of those smaller details you won’t even notice. Also eat your cake and all the food! I forgot to and that’s my only regrets. Too busy yapping! Haha!
