How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

I had my eye on some shoes for a while and could not find anything that seemed to match the style and quality of Forever Soles shoes. Figuring out my size was easy and the purchasing process was straight forward. I was so excited when my shoes arrived and they fit perfectly!

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

I wore the Willow Heels. I don’t know where to begin. From first finding them, the quality of the pearls and lovely pointed front (made them feel a bit more special and fancy), to wearing them, their comfort and heel size was perfect for a long afternoon!

How did you meet?

We meet at our local bar, I was a bartender and he was a customer. I reached out to him and the rest is history.

How long have you been together and how did they propose?

We have been together for 10 years. We got engaged on a sunset sailing cruise in Barcelona, Spain. It was a lovely afternoon on the water and such a great way to remember our trip to Europe and now one of our favourite cities, after all they say Barcelona often holds a special place in people’s hearts.

What is the most amazing thing about your person?

My husband is the kindest, most patient person you will ever meet. He knew me as I am and he stayed. We have ridden life’s ups and downs together and cannot wait to continue doing that for the rest of our lives.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Magical.

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

We both had so much fun with the photography. Before the ceremony taking photos individually really took away the nerves and made me really excited for the rest of the day. Our photos together were so much fun and we are so happy with how they turned out!

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

We got married at Perricoota Station on the banks of the Murray River in Moama. We chose this location because we love spending time in this part of the world, camping and boating and when we saw the venue we couldn’t imagine our day anywhere else.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

My gown is from True Society, Melbourne. It was designed by a gorgeous Australian designer Essence of Australia.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

Honestly I didn’t believe it but martial bliss and wedding blues are truly a thing! It is so bizarre that it is such a big event in your life but then life just goes back to normal afterwards. We are very much looking forward to our future together and hopefully one day welcoming some little ones into this world 🥰

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We are yet to go on a honeymoon (kinda wish we had straight away now) but hope to get to the Cook Islands in the next year. For now we are heading back to our life in the Northern Territory and can’t wait to keep seeing some wonderful places around Australia!

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Take it all in and get on the dance floor! My DJ said to me at the end of the night I loved seeing you on the dance floor most of the night because usually brides get stuck talking to guests and miss out on the fun.
