COURTNEY WEARS OUR HONEY HEELS IN WHITE

Photography by Leah Cruikshank

How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

Great and just so easy - from info on choosing the correct size, all the details on each shoe and the speedy delivery. Definitely one of the easiest decisions I made for our wedding.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

The Honey Sandals in White - having the ultimate combination of comfort and elegance and also being able to support an Australian business. I loved that the shoes came with the option of an ankle strap or ribbon tie - the shoes look different in their own special way and I look forward to wearing them again.

How did you and your husband meet?

We met through mutual colleagues and friends during our first year of work in regional Queensland.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We've been together 8 years. Will proposed at a scenic spot on my parents property with a champagne breakfast. This was the morning of our joint 30th birthday party so we got to celebrate our exciting news with our favourite people that night.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

His kindness, always.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Wow

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

The excitement and energy entering our reception as husband and wife ready to kick off our party.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Jimbour house, QLD.

For one, it is a spectacular venue (with great heritage and history) and had our hearts from the get go. Secondly, Will and I have spent a lot of time in regional and country Queensland and love everything it has to offer - the people, landscape and serenity. It was also an awesome opportunity for us to support local businesses as our vendors.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

Kyha Studios, purchased through Sphere Bridal Gallery

Any suppliers that you can recommend to brides-to-be in your area?

Photographer - Leah Cruikshank

Florals - Belle Bouquets (Lisel Vonhoff)

Musicians - Janda Events

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

Pure excitement sums up the feeling of our wedding day, the present and what's in store for our future.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Western Australia - we went on a road trip for 2 weeks from Perth through to Esperance. Every location was absolutely amazing. What a treat in our own country.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Your wedding day really does fly by (everyone told me it would), so just enjoy the celebration with your favourite people and be happy to run with any changes on the day.
