JENNA & PATRICK
The month of October is a special month to raise awareness and money for Breast Cancer Research. This cause is very close to our hearts so we decided to host a beautiful lunch with cocktails and grazing platters, barefoot jewels, glitter stations and beautiful shoes in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month last October.
We auctioned off a pair of Forever Soles unique pink hand - painted Valentine shoes especially for the occasion. One of our beautiful followers Jenna won these beautiful, one of a kind heels and styled them so perfectly on her special day!
We asked Jenna to share some highlights of her wedding day:
Where was your wedding located?
My Family farm in Conjola NSW
Who created your gorgeous gown?
My skirt and top was from Alexandra Grecco (NY) - I bought it at Helen Rodrigues (Neutral Bay)
What is one word that would best describe your wedding?
FUN!!!
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
He makes me smile every single day.
What was the most challenging part of organising a wedding?
We thought having it at the farm would make things a bit easier, but it turned out the logistics of getting everything and everyone in and out was definitely the hardest
Any funny moments?
My husband is known for singing “Horses” by Daryl Braithwaite at the top of his lungs when ever it came on and when it came on at the wedding, our friends put us up on their shoulders and we stayed up there dancing the whole time!!
What was your aisle song?
Patrick choose the aisle song and surprised me with it.
I was working away a lot this year as a physio for Cirque Du Soleil and this song just was a perfect fit.
Forever Ago - Woodlock
What is one scene in the wedding that will forever be in your memory?
Our photographer had pulled us away quickly to get some photos and we walked back to the tent and could see everyone eating and drinking and having so much fun.
How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
I was sitting at home on the couch at 3am very jet lagged after getting back from working in Europe and my maid of honour’s Mother in law had been diagnosed with breast cancer last year and I had just been speaking with her about it earlier that day and then I saw the Forever Soles instagram story about the breast cancer fundraiser. The shoes were my size, so beautiful, one of a kind and I thought they would be a perfect match for my dress.
I’m not someone who often wears pink, so when I rang Mum and said “Mum I have just bought pink shoes for the wedding” she was very shocked. Haha.
