How did you meet your husband?
We meet over 5 years ago through my brother. He made me laugh like no other has, we've been inseparable ever since.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
We choose Gurragawee Eco Venue, just outside of Byron Bay.
We always wanted an outdoor wedding and when we drove to this venue to check it out for the first time, we drove over this little cute bridge on the driveway and saw the beautiful property… we knew straight away that it was the perfect place!
What is one word that would best describe your wedding?
Oh this is a hard question! It was perfect, everything we hoped it would be.
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
Hmm, there are many things that I love. But the most amazing thing is how he treats me like a princess every single day.
What is one scene in the wedding that will forever be in your memory?
Every moment to be honest. Sipping Dom Perignon with my two bridesmaids and men of honour as we got ready. Walking down the aisle and seeing all our friends and family, Ty under the arbour with a massive smile on his face, but also the quieter moments, our first dance. Oh, everything really!
What was the most challenging part of organising a wedding?
I think personally for me, it was trying to have a wedding that met my expectations. Growing up I would always think about what my wedding would be like, what my dress would be, where it would be; outside or inside, garden wedding or beach wedding...
Looking back now, I wish i enjoyed the process more because at the end of the day, your wedding is just one special day. Who you are marrying is the most important thing, it's only the start of the rest of your life together.
If you could do it again, would you change anything?
Nope. Not a thing.
How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
