How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

I had the best experience! I initially couldn’t decide between the Melody Heels and the Melody Low Heels so I ordered both to compare and contacted Forever Soles. Their customer service was fantastic and they were so understanding and responsive in helping me find my perfect pair.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

I wore the Melody Low Heels. The pearl flower detail on the Melody Low Heels were a beautiful complement to my wedding dress lace and pearl accessories. The height of these shoes were so comfortable when walking down the grass aisle and dancing the night away!

How did you and your husband meet?

Peter and I went to school together but we didn’t start talking until after school when Peter commented on an online post I'd made about watching Jurassic Park. From there, we couldn't stop talking to each other and soon Peter asked me out on our first date.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

Peter and I have now been together for 9 years. The day that Peter proposed, he took me on a surprise picnic date in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. When we arrived, we walked all around the gardens because Peter wanted to find the best spot. Little did I know, he'd actually arranged for his friends to setup a picnic blanket with pillows, lit candles and fairy lights for us in the spot where he first told me he loved me. The proposal was beautiful and then soon afterwards I learnt that his friends had filmed the entire moment after they emerged from the trees and bushes.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He has the kindest heart and makes me laugh so much.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Magical

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

My favourite memory would have to be when my brother walked me into the ceremony and I first laid eyes on Peter and saw him looking back at me with a massive smile and he gave me a little wave. In that moment it was like time stood still and I couldn’t focus on anything except for Peter.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Al Ru Farm (@alru_farm). This venue has stunning gardens for outdoor ceremonies and also catered for the reception on site.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

I am still in awe of our special day and continue to relive every moment of it through our pictures! I am so excited to see where the rest of life leads us together.
