How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

The heels were love at first sight. I wore an untraditional shorter wedding dress so I loved that my shoes would be seen and be a statement piece.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

The Daisy Heels in Ivory! The beadwork would have to be my favourite feature. My youngest daughter's name is Daisy so I was drawn to them because of her.

How did you and your husband meet?

We met through mutual friends.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We have known each other for 13 years, we have 3 children together and we got engaged back in 2016. He popped the question on the deck of the house we were building which we now live in.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He is very easy going, a larrikin and a beautiful father.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

FUN!

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

The feelings! That overwhelming sense of joy and excitement of having everyone you love together celebrating. I couldn't keep the smile off my face all day.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Steve's parents property in Mount Martha, Airlie Farm.

We were so lucky to get married at a location that already holds so many beautiful memories.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

Stone Cold Fox

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

We have been together for many years so it feels much the same. haha! But it is lovely now to officially refer to him as my husband.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We had a mini moon after the the wedding at Five Acres in Phillip Island. It was stunning!

We are planning on a bigger overseas trip later this year with the kids.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Don't get hung up on traditions and others peoples expectations of what a wedding should include. Our wedding was exactly us and it really shined through on the day. Everyone loved the relaxed vibe.
