MADDIE WEARS OUR HONEY HEELS IN WHITE

How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

Great! I searched for so long to find the perfect wedding shoes, I think I bought and returned about 6 pairs before I came across Forever Soles!! As soon as they arrived I knew they were perfect - great colour, great height, perfect fit and soooo comfy. I followed the website size guide and the pair I purchased fit perfectly.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

The Honey Heels in White. They were a great height, I'm quite tall so I wanted something that gave me a little height and helped me feel elegant without feeling too tall. They were so comfy, I hadn't worn heels for a very long time before the wedding, and I wore them all day and night with no issues, and no need to 'wear them in' beforehand. And I loved the bow tie option! I actually loved the shoes so much I decided to get a short reception dress to show them off! I had so many compliments on them too. Oops that's a few favourite things!

How did you and your husband meet?

Like all modern love stories, we met online (Bumble).

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We've been together almost 6 years, and he proposed on holiday in Tasmania at the aptly named Honeymoon Bay.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He has the kindest heart ❤️

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Special

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

Seeing my almost-husband waiting up the aisle for me, looking nervous and so handsome. I thought I'd feel nervous in front of everyone but it really was like no-one else was there, and I was so excited to see him after the build-up and anticipation.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Gold Creek Station in Hall, on the outskirts of the ACT. It was the only place we looked and we knew it was right immediately. Rustic farm vibes, picturesque scenery, ceremony and reception all in the one place, it was just right for us. It's also only a few minutes from our house which helped!

Who created your gorgeous gown?

Made With Love, but I actually bought it second-hand on Still White. It was a bit of a gamble as I'd never tried on that style dress, but something told me to take the risk and buy it and I'm so glad I did!

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

Honestly much the same as before, but I do love saying 'my husband' now, even if it feels a bit weird!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We have a toddler so we had a very toddler-friendly mini honeymoon at Taronga Zoo! We stayed a few nights and all had a blast, and are heading to the Gold Coast soon to spend some time with family, escape cold Canberra and have a few toddler-free date nights!

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Invest in good quality vendors that will look after you and your guests on the day, and don't sweat the small stuff. Things will go wrong but if you marry your love that's all that matters (yes so cliche I know!)
