How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

It was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I saw the shoes, I knew they were the ones. They were beautiful, comfortable, and added such a unique touch to my look.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

I wore the Melody Heels in Ivory. They were not only beautiful but incredibly comfortable—I was able to stand and walk around from morning till late at night without any discomfort. They truly carried me through the entire day with grace and ease.

How did you and your husband meet?

Ours was a traditional arranged marriage, but the journey we’ve had feels anything but ordinary. We met on May 18th, 2024, during a traditional ‘pennukanal’ (bride-seeing) ceremony—both of us walking in with quiet hesitation, unsure of what to expect. Neither of us imagined we’d find something real that day. But in that brief moment of shared glances and gentle conversation, something shifted. What started as a formal meeting slowly blossomed into the most genuine and soulful connection. It was as if the universe had silently orchestrated that day for us—and we’re so grateful it did.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

There wasn’t a conventional proposal, but we did have a deeply meaningful and formal one on September 14, 2024, surrounded by our close family members in Kerala. It wasn’t about grand gestures—it was about love, intention, and the quiet certainty that we were meant to journey through life together. Our love story unfolded beautifully and quickly, weaving itself into something so natural and effortless, eventually leading us to a heartfelt wedding filled with the people who mean the most to us.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

His unwavering support and gentle patience. He’s my calm in every storm, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the way he loves—with quiet strength and endless care. It’s in the little things he does that his love truly shines: carrying me to bed when I fall asleep on the couch, making sure I’ve eaten or reminding me to drink enough water, holding my hand when I need comfort without having to ask. He loves in actions more than words, and every day he makes me feel safe, seen, and so deeply cherished.

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Whimsical.

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

Our first look. The moment we saw each other before the ceremony was emotional, grounding, and truly unforgettable. But another deeply special memory was when my dad walked me down the aisle. As he handed me to my husband, I felt the weight of all the love and support from both of our families, and it was a moment filled with pure joy and emotion. It was a beautiful passing of trust and love, and I’ll cherish it forever.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Our wedding took place in Kerala, surrounded by the natural beauty of the place we both hold dear. It was the perfect backdrop for our celebration, and having both of our families there made it even more special. We chose Kerala because it’s a place of deep meaning to us, and we wanted to start this new chapter of our lives where we felt most connected to our roots, our culture, and each other.

You’re a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

It feels surreal, like a dream come true. There’s an overwhelming sense of peace and joy in knowing that we’ve committed to a lifetime of love, laughter, and shared dreams. It’s the kind of love that feels both gentle and fierce, and in that moment, as we exchanged vows, I realized that I was exactly where I was always meant to be—by his side. I can’t put into words the comfort and warmth I feel, knowing we’re building this beautiful life together.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We haven’t had the chance to go yet, but we’re planning a romantic getaway to Tasmania! We’re really looking forward to it, as it promises the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation—exploring beautiful landscapes and enjoying quiet moments together in nature.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Don’t stress the small stuff. Soak in every second because it goes by in a beautiful blur. And most importantly—wear comfy shoes! From my own experience, I found that organizing everything months before the big day helped reduce the stress. It gave me time to enjoy the moments leading up to the wedding without feeling overwhelmed. Planning ahead can truly make all the difference in how much you enjoy the day!
