How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

My experience was amazing! The shoes were the only thing I was very particular about. As soon as I saw the shoes, I knew they were the exact shoes I needed for my special day, the shoes that would tie everything together.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

I wore the Willow Sandals. My favourite thing was the pearls. I worked my whole wedding outfit around pearls after I found your perfect shoes. The block heel was also a massive bonus! Made it way easier throughout the day!

How did you and your husband meet?

We met when we were teenagers but didn’t start dating until later in life. I think he came back into my life at a perfect time that worked for us.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We have been together for about 4 years. He proposed about 2 ½ years in on a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea whilst his 90 year old grandparents were there to join in on the celebration.

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He is unlike any man I have ever met, he is kind, thoughtful, protective, makes me feel amazing and he knows how to make me laugh so hard, every day. I am so so lucky!

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Perfect!

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

Walking down the aisle to Louis. I surprised him with my isle song, with arms wide open - creed (which was surprisingly a great wedding song 😂). He thought I was using a different song and was feeling all the emotions when it clicked what song it was - he was laughing, crying, amazed, scared, everything. It was amazing!

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

We had our wedding at Zest, the Spit. My parents house is close and can see the venue from their house, Louis also spent a lot of his childhood in the area. The venue was absolutely beautiful, food is AMAZING, and staff were so helpful! This venue was a perfect location, look and vibe for what we wanted for our wedding.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

I purchased my gown at Perfect Day Bridal - they were amazing in helping me find my gown! The gown is called "Pia" by Catherine R Couture.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

Amazing! Being married isn’t that different from getting engaged or even dating. We are just as fun, free and laughing every day. I love calling my husband, and he loves calling me his wife; everything feels just right and perfect!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We went to Nelson Bay, but a big storm came through and knocked out the power, phones, and internet. We still had a great time but are hoping to get another holiday in soon!

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Don’t over-plan! If you have too many exact plans or expectations, you will end up stressing over things that barely matter. Instead, make the important plans and then enjoy the ride! It is an unforgettable day and everything will be perfect because you’re marrying your perfect person!
