It was the most amazing day, I always thought I would have a big wedding as I have a huge family, but as we have so many big plans for our extension and home it seemed silly spending an extravagant amount of money on a wedding when we could still have a beautiful day but in another country.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Our wedding was located at Warung Taulan Villa & Restaurant. It was private, overlooked the rice fields, had villas we could stay in and it was so stunning and tropical with an infinity pool as well as plenty of grassy areas for our 1 year old to play.

How did you meet your husband?

We met at a restaurant/bar in Dromana on the mornington peninsula called “Two buoys” we hit it off straight away and later on he sent flowers into my work and we began dating and he moved in only 3 months later! We then saved up brought our own home the following year, and in that time he proposed at a private picnic area at Arthur’s Seat seawinds gardens. We now have a beautiful 13 month old and she was our flower girl.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

ok this is embarrassing but I actually found it in a random little boutique store in Frankston, I put it on and that was it! I was so happy with it.. it was only $200 also!! I was so lucky

What is one word that would best describe your wedding?

Personal

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

He is extremely thoughtful, and is the most amazing father and Husband and always put us first.

What is one scene in the wedding that will forever be in your memory?

I would have to say there’s two, one being able to walk down the aisle with my beautiful dad, and 2, seeing troy at the alter waiting for me smiling holding our beautiful daughter. I’ll never forget that look on his face.

What was the most challenging part of organising a wedding?

It was extremely easy as Tracey from “Oo La Lah” wedding planning sorted out everything! She just asked what things I wanted and I told her budget, if I was to say anything it would be keeping it a secret from everyone as none of our friends knew we were doing it!

If you could do it again, would you change anything?

I would’ve got a videographer to video the whole day.

How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

I did a girls hair for her wedding and she had forever soles foot jewels on and I loved them! She told me where to get them from and I just had to have some so I could wear them with my shoes but also where them without my shoes when I was walking around on the grass after the ceremony. So many choices, so beautiful, and when tagging @foreversoles they msgd me straight away to say thank you and hoping I had an amazing day which was so personal and lovely for them to do.

Yes It wasn’t a massive wedding with 200 people and expensive dresses or accessories and but it was personal and about Troy and I and I didn’t feel like I missed out in any way, I still felt like a princess being all dressed up for one day and all of those little things such as my beautiful foot jewels added up to the way I felt and made my day as good as it was.
