Erica & Brandon

What is one word that would best describe your wedding? Pure Magic (I know that's two words, sorry! haha!)

Who created your gorgeous gown? I found my lovely gown at LOHO Bride and it was designed by the divine sisters of Daughters Of Simone

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

Oh goodness, where do I begin? I never thought the love I share with Brandon existed, until our paths crossed, cheesy I know, but it's so true! If I had to just pick one amazing thing about him, it would be the fact that he never requests perfection from me, he only asks that I show up everyday exactly as I am and he will always, always accept and love me wholly as that person.

What was the most challenging part of organising a wedding?

For me the most challenging part was executing the design concept I had created in my head into reality. I had a very clear idea of what I pictured my special day to look like, but had no idea where to begin, especially it being a destination wedding and my "go-with-the-flow" personality- I felt way in over my head. My solution? I hired an angel of a wedding designer, Mishka, who made the big day come to life - so grateful for her!

Any funny moments? I was late to my own wedding, which may or may not have been a surprise to those who know me, haha! I was sitting alone in my room, centering myself and putting on some finally gloss touches when I heard my song and though to myself, "Shoot! I'm late!". I think Brandon got a little chuckle out of it.

What is one scene in the wedding that will forever be in your memory? There are so many! But the one memory that is truly engrained in my mind is the moment my dad and I locked arms before I walked down the aisle, he asked if I was ready, kissed my cheek and as we took our first step together, I locked eyes with Brandon's misty eyes. It felt like the cosmic universe stopped in time just for us - it was beyond incredible.

What was your aisle song? I walked down to the classic song, Crazy Love by Van Morrison - I'm an old soul at heart and am convinced I was a hippie in my past life.

How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride? My experience was absolutely a dream! Being married on the beach, it was so important to me to actually feel the sand between my toes, the earth under my feet and to feel completely grounded and rooted on my wedding day. Forever Soles allowed this all to happen.
