How did you meet?
We met as a seafood and wine festival that we were both at with mutual friends back in 2014 but he was actually friends with my brother from high school and was even at my brothers wedding earlier in the year that we met.
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
His ability to make others smile, he always wants to do whats best for those around him.
Describe your wedding in one word:
Magical
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
Honestly I don't have just one favourite memory, the day goes so quickly that it all kind of blurs together. All I can say is that it was one incredibly loving and fun blur. We were so fortunate to have the day we did considering everything going on at the time with COVID.
Where was your wedding located?
Kooroomba Vineyard & Lavender Farm.
What made you choose this location?
The venue had popped up on instagram a few years prior to our wedding before I was even engaged and at the time I saw it I absolutely fell in love. I have also always wanted to get married indoors so I didn't have to stress about the weather and this venue has the most incredible chapel that is an open frame, so you're protected from the weather but still get the feeling of being outside.
You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
It feels so surreal to be a wife and a married woman. It's so exciting to be starting this next chapter of our lives together as husband and wife after so many years as boyfriend and girlfriend.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Our plan was to travel to Italy and Greece for 2 weeks, however COVID happened. Instead we were lucky enough to spend a week at an incredible resort in Port Douglas (Sheraton Grand Port Douglas). We then headed off to Hamilton Island and stayed at the most insane resort for the second week (Elysian Retreat), this retreat was an unreal experience.
How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
I have never been able to wear heels for an entire day and night ever until I wore these shoes. They were so insanely comfortable. I also wanted shoes with a low heel and it was almost impossible to find a nice modern looking pair until I came across this brand.
