How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
It was wonderful, comfortable and I felt unique. In my country, the shoes that were presented to me for the bride were very conventional, without much variety. When I found the forever soles page and saw the model I chose, it was love at first sight and I couldn't look any further.
Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?
The Daisy Heels in Ivory. Being so unique and delicate. I felt that my style and personality were so well represented in the shoes.
How did you and your husband meet?
We live a true fairytale story! We met in high school, we were in the same class, and since then, we have never been apart.
How long have you been together and how did he propose?
We dated for 12 years. Yes, I know it was quite a long wait. He says it's covid's fault! hahaha I think it was worth the wait! The request was made in a magical accommodation palace, in Sintra, Portugal.
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
He is very patient and affectionate with me.
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
The happiest day.
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
The moment of entering the hall to the sound of our favourite music and being welcomed and congratulated by all our friends and family, who were also so happy.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
Sintra, Portugal. We live in the capital of Portugal, in Lisbon. However, most of our dating years were spent visiting Sintra and its castles, landscapes and eating its traditional sweets. Since the proposal was also in Sintra, there was no other possible place for our big day.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
I feel very happy and complete after the long 12 years of dating. I feel that it was all worth it because we went through several stages of life, and now we are very mature in our marriage. The big difference is the feeling we have now – that we are part of the same family and are creating an even stronger bond than we had before. It's now 'us against the world', and we will never be alone again.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went to Greece, and it was magical – everything we had ever dreamed of doing. We began our journey in the city of Athens, then immersed ourselves in nature on the island of Milos. After that, we experienced the beauty of Santorini and concluded our adventure on the stunning beaches of Crete.
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
Don't give up on the toughest days. Communicate openly with your fiancé about everything – both the positives and the challenges. Remember, communication is key!
