How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
Wonderful! My Forever Soles shoes definitely completed my look, I felt so classy in them AND my feet were comfortable too.
Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?
I wore the Gyspy Queen wedges! I loved the silk material and how the shoe felt classic, perfect for an outdoor wedding, but a bit more dressy.
How did you and your husband meet?
We met off of the dating app Hinge. I lucked out because it was the first time I had gone on a date through an app!
How long have you been together and how did he propose?
We have been together for two years. He proposed at the top of one of my favorite mountains in San Diego, Cowles Peak, after a hike. It was very spur-of-the-moment and I was absolutely surprised.
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
He is so thoughtful and intentional, always going above and beyond to care for me in big and small ways.
Who created your gorgeous gown?
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
Intimate
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
We both wrote our own vows, and hearing each other read out loud to each other during the ceremony felt so special and is something I'll never forget.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
Our wedding was at my parent's home in San Diego, CA. I knew the outdoor space of their home had so much potential, and I had always dreamed of an outdoor garden-inspired wedding.
You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
It still feels surreal, but I also feel very grateful and excited to be entering into this new chapter of my life. Being a wife is something I've dreamed of for a long time and I'm trying to enjoy it one day at a time.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went on a minimoon to Topanga Canyon, the mountains outside of Los Angeles. But... we're headed to Cape Town, SA in January for our honeymoon and we're beyond excited!
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
Don't be afraid to ask for help and try to not take on all the planning responsibilities on your own.
