How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
Could not have had a better experience! The shoes were exactly what I was looking for, amazing quality and arrived within a day or two.
Which shoes did you wear for your wedding?
Sailor Sandal in Gold
What was your favourite thing about your shoes?
They were the perfect height and SO comfortable – the perfect heel to be in all day. I also loved the shape of the heel that it wasn’t a full block look but still stable to walk on. Loved that they were a little different being gold.
How did you and your husband meet?
We actually met on Tinder just over 6 years ago haha!
How long have you been together and how did he propose?
Over 6 years now. We went away to a little Airbnb on the Sunshine Coast for my birthday with our dog Winnie. He took Winnie into the bedroom to which I followed, to then find him on one knee!
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
It’s really hard to pick one thing as he truly is perfect for me. The most amazing thing would probably be how hard he works and how much care he puts into everything he does.
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
Perfect
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
Walking down the aisle and seeing Reece standing there, or our Vows.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
We got married at Yandina Station on the Sunshine Coast. We had been to quite a few venues but none of them stood out to us. As soon as we went here we instantly fell in love with the modern but rustic feel of the barn and how beautiful the views and buildings were. The owners, Sally & Neil, were so welcoming and amazing which made the decision very easy.
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
Book in the important things to you early, and don’t sweat the small stuff. Our day was absolutely perfect, however it would have been perfect no matter where we were or what we did.
Who created your gorgeous gown?
Karen Willis Holmes Bridal! I then had it altered slightly by Dressmaker Aniko Fozo.
You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
We were so lucky to have our wedding as we planned on the day we planned despite the current uncertainty around COVID-19, so a bit relieved! Aside from that, just so happy and content.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We didn’t want to risk any border issues so we decided to keep it in Queensland and headed to Hamilton Island.
