How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
Fantastic! I had come across the shoes on Pinterest before I even bought my dress, and told myself to wait until that was sorted before buying shoes. Months later, I just couldn’t get them out of my head, so I bought the shoes and never looked back. They were perfect.
Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?
The Melody Heels in Ivory. They’re just so beautiful! My dress was classic and romantic, so I love how the shoes allowed me to add in more of my personality and really complement the rest of the look with something a bit more unique and modern, yet still classic themselves. The pearl detailing pulled it all together. Plus, you can tell how high-quality they are from the moment you open the packaging.
How did you and your wife meet?
We actually met while working together at a small start-up. We built a solid foundation of friendship over a couple of years as colleagues before it turned into something more, so we got to know and love each other before it became romantic. The rest is history!
What is the most amazing thing about your wife?
She’s incredibly thoughtful and generous in the ways she shows up for me and the people she loves. Plus, she always orders my second choice on a menu instead of her first, and saves me all the best bites!
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
Personal
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
Sharing our vows to each other in front of our amazing community of friends and family. It was really special to let them in on our love story.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
Timber Hill Farm on Lake Winnepesaukee in New Hampshire. I grew up spending summers on the lake, so it’s always been my happy place, and getting to share it with Lindsey was important to us from the beginning – so we wanted to share that magic with others, too.
Who created your gorgeous gown?
Morilee by Madeline Gardner
You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
So exciting to get to start building our life together as a married couple!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We did a mini moon to Maine to relax by the beach, and we’re planning a longer, international honeymoon for early next year.
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
Don’t be afraid to do things your own way. Many of the highlights of our wedding (and the planning process) were all the special, non-traditional personal touches we wove into the day to make it feel uniquely ours. Oh, and make sure to prioritize time with your partner on the day-of. Cherish those moments, it goes by fast!
