How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

Experience was lovely, my shoes were even better than I expected, so comfortable and I got so many compliments.

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

The Melody Low Heels in Ivory. The pearl flowers, the detailing and such high quality.

How did you meet?

Nick and I met on Hinge over 6 years ago now, our first date was watching the sunset at the water tower at Point Cartwright on the Sunshine Coast.

How long have you been together and how did they propose?

Nick proposed to me at sunrise, at the same spot we both said “I love you” for the first time at Alexandra Headland on the Sunshine Coast.

What is the most amazing thing about your person?

Nick is so loving and very hardworking…there’s more but I’d be here a while and I couldn’t just pick one sorry!

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Romantic

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

Seeing my now husband Nick at the end of the aisle, I felt like a princess and we’d stayed apart for the night before and I just couldn’t wait to see him and get to officially call him my husband.

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Goodwater Ridge Maleny, we chose it because it has a lovely European feel and our families are Slovenian and Italian so it felt really us. It’s a beautiful venue and we just knew at the first visit that we had to get married there. Maleny and Sunny coast hinterland was also Nick and I’s favourite spot to go on dates so it really just made sense.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

It feels so peaceful (after all that planning and decision fatigue!), unifying and like we’re in a love bubble; we’re both just so excited for our lives ahead of us.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We went to Fiji and it was the most relaxing and food-filled holiday spent soaking up the sun by the pool.

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Choose what feels meaningful to you and your partner and stick with it, don’t let other people sway your decisions, enjoy the planning and the day as much as you can and remember it’s about the two of you. The day will go quick, soak it in, and it will have hiccups, just roll with it!
