Sarah & Joey
How did you meet Joey?
Joey and I met in high school. I guess you could say we are high school sweethearts.
How long have you been together and how did he propose?
Before he proposed we had been together for 8ish years. After having my dream ring made, he proposed to me at my favourite place on my parents’ farm. It was honestly a shock!
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
His ability to lift people up. He has the kindest heart. He is my best friend.
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
Magic!
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
There are too many. The day was filled with laughter, tears and so much love. We were surrounded by our closed family and friends.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
We tied the knot at Goonoo Goonoo Station outside of Tamworth NSW. We chose this location because it is simply breathtaking.
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
Do not overthink it. All that matters is the two of you! Everything else is just noise. You want to enjoy the day and not be worried about everyone else.
Who created your gorgeous gown?
Any suppliers that you loved?
The amazing Rachel Deane of Finishing Image Photography and Drue from Botanique New England. The only word to describe these amazing women is exceptional.
You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
To be honest nothing changes but it feels pretty extraordinary to call him mine.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Due to our crazy world, we have delayed our honeymoon. We snuck away for a quiet two nights in the Hunter Valley before returning to reality.
How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
My beautiful Forever Soles – I can honestly say I have never owned a more comfortable pair of shoes. I was able to dance the night away in style. They are simply amazing. If I could wear them everyday I would! I couldn’t love them more. I wanted to add a splash of colour to my attire and also be comfortable. My Passion heels provided all of the above and more.
