2020… what a wild ride. From the uncertainty of knowing if Forever Soles would survive to feeling a sense of new direction, deeper connection with my suppliers and customers and feeling more grateful for what I have.
 

There has been a sense of togetherness this year as we we have spent time alone and changed our usual way life rolls along. I spoke to many of you, about your 2020 experience as a bride and what your wedding journey looked like. We had to bare back, be patient and spend time focusing on what is important and remove what no longer works.  

My latest campaign ‘Together’ created in collaboration with my best friend Kirrilly Rose felt beautiful and natural to bring into the world right now. The name ‘Together’ has a multitude of meanings. From joining together with your partner in marriage, longing to be closer to loved ones this year, appreciating their precious cuddles, to working together collaboratively to help each other out.

Kirrilly and I have been besties for just over 6 years and bonded when we discovered we were both pregnant with our first child. I moved into a home about 5 doors down from her and we both had baby girls three weeks apart. We found comfort and connection in experiencing new motherhood together.

Kirrilly and I both tinker away in our home workshops creating our designs, so coming together to showcase our best work was a beautiful way to support and celebrate our work. Creating the story and the vision of this shoot was one of my happiest projects and I hope you enjoy seeing my latest shoe designs styled with her exquisite hand-made jewellery.
