How did you meet your husband?

We met on a wine festival in our home city. Its really big and crowded and still we found each other. A group of friends wanted to take a selfie, which doesn't worked, so he helped us out  and took the focus on me

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

Honestly, he is the most careful and lovely person I ever met. And he always make little gestures and gifts, things that are so thoughtful and make me smile.

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

We are together for almost 6 years. I got the propose on our road trip around Europe. Our third destination was Madeira, Portugal. Watching the sunset hundreds meters above the Atlantic Ocean. Just the two of us alone. Breathtaking!

What was it like planning your wedding?

We are a really good team. He has the handcraft skills and patience, I'm the creative one with a lot of ideas. Perfect team, with the same taste and wishes!

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

Definitely the free wedding outside and our personal vows, also our first dance, with turns from a "A star is born"-Medley into greek dance music. Thats why I took of your shoes and was dancing the rest of the songs with your anklets.

Where was your wedding located?

The location was at  Hofgut Maisenburg. It's one hour away from our hometown and it's so peaceful and so natural. The dinner and party was in an old barn and the opportunity to get married outside was our big wish.

Any advice for other brides-to-be?

Just don't listen to anybody else. Its your wedding, Just you and your future husband need to like everything. Just celebrate your love and take a lot of moments to enjoy everything!

Who created your gorgeous gown?

The gown was tailor-made by a little atelier called Light and Lace. We drove 5 hours to the store but it was so worth it (you can see we like to travel and take road trips). It was the lace from one dress and the cut from another one. It was so light and boho and perfect. But my husband looked awesome too, didn't he?

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

I wouldn't say it feels totally different. But its a great connection and I love to say that I'm his wife. But: Just like a "unmarried" couple you have to keep working everyday on your relationship.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We travelled around South Italy and enjoyed the weather, beach and of course the awesome food.

How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

The best shoes ever. Loved it. Didn't feel anything, just like walking barefoot. I only took them of for the second part of the dance, because the music was so gypsy and folklore greek. And the anklets matched perfect to the dress. So happy that I got almost the last pair, because I remember it was the last pair online in my size.
