How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
My experience with Forever Soles was brilliant. When I came across the Forever Soles website (which I found on a wedding Facebook page) I instantly fell in love with the Passion Red Velvet heels. I had some issues with sizing because I have small feet but Angie was incredibly helpful with arranging a new size to be sent out and giving me some details about the differences in heel heights when I wasn't sure which heel height I wanted.
Which shoes did you wear for your wedding and what was your favourite thing about your shoes?
Passion Tall Heel Ruby Velvet Shoes! I loved having a pair of statement shoes that tied in so beautifully with the theme of our day! I also was so comfortable in these heels all day, even though I was originally unsure about getting the higher heel.
How did you and your husband meet?
Tom and I met when we were in year 5 at school and were friends and went to school together through the rest of our schooling.
How long have you been together and how did he propose?
We've been together for almost 9 years (and friends for 17 years!). Our proposal story is pretty simple, we decided that we wanted to get married so picked out our ring together which was a really special process and time. When we picked up my ring, Tom "formally" asked me.
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
Tom has a way of being friends with everyone and making everyone love him. He has such a calm and friendly presence.
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
Happiness
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
There are a lot of favourite memories I have from our wedding day, but one of the standouts is getting to watch the sunset together, just the two of us.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
Preston Peak Wines, we wanted to be far enough from home (Brisbane) so that we could have a weekend surrounded by our favourite people but still close enough to be able to visit our beautiful venue from time to time. Also the wine...
Who created your gorgeous gown?
Helena Couture Designs created both my bridal gown and my party dress.
You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
For us, it feels very much the same as before just with an added sense of calm and extra love.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went to Port Douglas and Bedarra Island (the best place you will ever visit).
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
Schedule buffer time into your run sheet and make sure there's time for just you and your partner to be together and take in the day.
