LAUREN WEARS OUR DESTINY SANDALS IN A LOW HEEL

How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
Amazing! I received so many compliments on my shoes and have already worn them again to another event!
Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?
The Destiny Sandals with a low heel. They were soooo comfy around the balls of my feet and toes, which is where other bridal shoe brands were lacking. I was absolutely sold on one pair of shoes despite them being the most uncomfortable things I had EVER worn around my toes, but I decided on comfort! Was able to keep them all night, right through until getting back to our accommodation at 12 am midnight.
How did you and your husband meet?
High school!
How long have you been together and how did he propose?
10 years together this year. Justin proposed around our 9-year anniversary
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
Justin has the biggest heart. His kind and generous soul, he's one of those people that you never hear a bad word about, really!
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
I would say surreal... feels like a dream! Did it even happen?
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
Hearing Justin's vows for the first time. We both wrote personalised vows and did not share them until the day. We have always been very good at communicating what we love about each other in our daily lives, but it was extra special hearing all the things, both big and small, in front of our family and friends.
Where was your wedding located?
We got married at Bimbadgen Palmers Lane, Hunter Valley. We also got engaged on a Bimbadgen Winery/Estate, so we were so lucky we were able to keep the location quite sentimental!
Who created your gorgeous gown?
Made with Love Bridal, my gown was named 'Summer'
You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
We are so grateful we were able to have a wedding to celebrate our love with all of our family and friends! As I mentioned before, it still feels quite surreal, I think I'm still on cloud 9! We love looking through all of the footage and reminiscing on how happy everyone was celebrating with us that day.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We stayed in an all-inclusive resort in Nusa Dua, Bali. I barely moved off the pool lounge all week! Just what we needed to recharge the batteries afterward.
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
I have 3 pieces of advice, actually:
1. Don't stress until you have to. If you're prepared and have backup plans/plan Bs in place, then let it go and trust in your vendors/the processes.
2. Have a few guests take some informal/impromptu photos during the down times, e.g., whilst at the reception table or whilst walking between photo sites; we have loved looking through all of the footage whilst awaiting our professional photos/video to come back!
3. GET THE COMFY SHOES!
