What’s your husband's name and how did you meet?
My husbands name is Carlos, we met when I was 13 and he was 15, through my cousin. I met him in his garage during his band practice. He plays the drums.
How long have you been together and how did he propose?
We’ve been together for 9 years this June.
When he proposed he took me hiking in San Bernardino National forest, I actually called in sick to work that day for us to go hike. We got out to a clearing and he popped the question!
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
He loves with so much passion, he’s a gentle giant, his capacity for kindness really blows my mind every single time I see it in action.
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
Joyful
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
My favourite memory is walking down the isle, I didn’t care about anything else. He was the only person I saw, it was like we were the only people in the world.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
We got married in Hood River, Oregon on an Alpaca Farm. We love Oregon, we’re from California but we just love the trees.
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
Regardless of how much you plan and what you plan for, it won’t go how you planned, but it’ll still be perfect. Be present, enjoy your husband-to-be.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
It’s a very sweet rewarding, reassuring feeling, it feels like safety, like home.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We honeymoon’d in Seaside Oregon, and it was so beautiful.
How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
So great, such comfortable shoes, so beautiful, such a staple piece in my ensemble. I haven’t worn them since because they’re just gorgeous and they’re very special to me now.
