How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
It was great! I live in the US and I received the shoes very quickly considering they were shipped internationally!
Which shoes did you wear for your wedding?
What was your favourite thing about your shoes?
I liked how they were unique but very classy still. I wore a dress that was a hi/low and really showed off my shoes so I had to find a pair worth showing off! When I started shoe shopping I realised there weren’t many options for wedding shoes. Which makes sense considering most dresses are long and you don’t usually see the bride's shoes much. I was so happy when I found Forever Soles and the perfect shoes for me and my wedding day! (Also, they’re so cute I will definitely be rewearing them)
How did you and your husband meet?
We met in the ICU! I was a nurse and he was a doctor in residency!
How long have you been together and how did he propose?
4 years now! And he proposed on the top of a mountain in Colorado while on a snowboarding trip. Colorado was the first place we went on a vacation together so it was special to be back there and get engaged!
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
He cares for other people so much. He is an ER doctor and has been so selfless throughout this pandemic. But even before these times he has alway put other people before himself. I always heard the saying to marry someone who makes you want to be a better person and he truly challenges me to do this every day!
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
PARTY
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
Hitting the dance floor! Our DJ was so good, the dance floor was packed from the time it opened until the very last song.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
Kansas City, Missouri. This is the city we met!
Who created your gorgeous gown?
Rue De Seine!
You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
It feels so good! It’s been fun navigating through this adventure we call life with my husband!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Greece! 100/10 recommend! Such a beautiful and friendly country.
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
It’s okay to be unconventional! We veered away from a lot of wedding traditions and I don’t regret it at all. Our wedding was perfect for us and that’s all that truly matters!
