How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?

My experience was great! I ordered the very famous Melody Low Heels on Preorder, the staff at Forever Soles were very kind and friendly and super prompt with communication which I loved as a stressed bride-to-be!

Which shoes did you wear for your wedding?

The drop dead gorgeous Melody Low Heels. I had seen them on an ad before on Instagram before I was even engaged and said to all of my friends that if I were to get married these would be my heels!

What was your favourite thing about your shoes?

My favourite thing about my wedding heels was the beautiful craftsmanship and THE DETAIL OH MY GOSH THE DETAIL that was put into the curating of the shoe. From the gold detailing, to the beautiful beaded flower pearls, to the quality and sturdiness of the entire heel. As soon as I opened the box I was seriously in love!

How did you and your husband meet?

My Husband and I met through mutual friends when we were 13 years old, since then we were inseparable. We had become best friends!

How long have you been together and how did he propose?

My Hubby and I have been together since we were the fresh age of 16! So that makes it 5 years now which is crazy to think about! Rohan proposed in the most Rohan way possible and I mean that in the best way possible lol! We are from a small coastal town in Ocean Grove Victoria, he planned a weekend getaway in the city CBD (Melbourne) and proposed in the Melbourne Botanical Gardens. He had my family set up a beautiful picnic with rose petals, champagne EVERYTHING a girl could imagine and more! He had blindfolded me from our hotel and when I removed my blindfold there he was down on one knee asking me to be his wife!!

What is the most amazing thing about your man?

The most amazing thing about my man is his gentleness and his kind and caring nature. At first Rohan may seem reserved and quiet but he is always looking out for me and everyone around him. He has a huge heart and loves loving me. He is so goofy and silly and makes me laugh on the daily, he is everything I've ever dreamed about as a little girt. I am so in love and I could go on and on forever talking about my amazing husband!

How would you describe your wedding in one word?

Overwhelming Joy, excitement and peace. Also #Hectic but that's more than one word !

What is your favourite memory from your wedding?

SO many to chose from! I think my favourite moment from my wedding day would have to be when our Photographer & Videographer told us to take 15minutes around sunset to go into the Otway National Park and we just got to spend some time just talking, laughing and sharing in the joy of being married. There is so much going on, so many people wanting your attention and time and for us to take that small amount of time aside just us two together felt surreal. I would highly recommend doing this!

Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?

Our wedding was located on a private property down in Carlisle River right in the Otway National Park in Victoria. We actually chose this location when we were 17.. My then boyfriend at the time in 2019 asked if I'd get married here when we visited for a weekend getaway and ever since then our hearts were set on the beautiful family farm.

Who created your gorgeous gown?

Morilee by Madeline Gardener - Purchased at Forever and Always Bridal in Melbourne.

You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?

So normal but with a new found love for each other. Marriage is this beautiful ball of magic that no one can describe and until you get married that beautiful ball of magic just makes sense.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

I am finishing my nursing studies at the end of the year and then we are planning a big trip to Europe next year with no return flight! See where the world takes us!

Any advice for our brides-to-be?

Take it all in. Ignore peoples requests and opinions and do what you want to do. This is your day, soak it all up it goes by in a blink of an eye. Be intentional about who you invite to your special day, who you truly want standing beside you on the biggest day of your life. Lastly, things will go wrong but who cares! No one knows let alone cares, breathe, relax and focus on your husband!
