LAÍS WEARS OUR PASSION LOW HEELS IN RUBY
Photography by Danilo Siqueira
How was your experience as a Forever Soles bride?
I knew exactly what I wanted: a red velvet comfortable sandal. I started searching months before the wedding and could not find anything like that. So I found a photo on Pinterest, and "BINGO! That is exactly what I am looking for." The thing is that it was just the picture with no tags or brand. Nothing. So I started hunting... and voilá: I found Forever Soles. I thought I was a bit crazy to buy from Australia to the other side of the globe, but I was SO happy when they arrived.
Which shoes did you wear for your wedding? What was your favourite thing about your shoes?
The Passion Low Heels in Ruby! My favourite things about them were the vibrant colour and comfort. (Side note: I am shocked it is on sale now. nooooooo lol)
How did you and your husband meet?
We used to work for the same company.
How long have you been together, and how did he propose?
5 years. At the beach in Mexico, during the sunset hour. He was straightforward -- "I love you so much, and I love our life together. Will you be my wife?"
What is the most amazing thing about your man?
He is a beautiful human being, and I admire that so much - how he is calm, how he treats people, and how balanced he is makes me want to be a better person every day.
How would you describe your wedding in one word?
PERFECT.
What is your favourite memory from your wedding?
Seeing all those people there for us and happy all night long.
Where was your wedding located? What made you choose this location?
Itu, in the countryside of Sao Paulo, Brazil (where we come from). We knew we wanted a green area, which is hard to find in the city. Also, we wanted a place to arrive earlier and spend more time with our loved ones. So we had a reception on Friday, the wedding on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday with some guests.
Who created your gorgeous gown?
I live in Mexico and found this atelier that represents French designers. So I got it from Sauvage but it was designed by Caroline Takvorian.
Any other suppliers (photographers, florals, etc.) we need to credit?
Decoration: Ahorta
Hair & Make Up: Magnolia Make-Up
You're a wife now! How does it feel to finally tie the knot?
As we already lived together, it did not change much, but the ring. On the other hand, there is an additional complicity that I can not explain.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Curacao, in the Caribbean.
Any advice for our brides-to-be?
Enjoy every second. It will go too fast.
PS: Pick the right outfit - feeling pretty and comfortable is 50% to make that day special.
